About Klerksdorp golf course
Established in 1889, Klerksdorp Golf Club is the oldest in the Old Transvaal and among South Africa's oldest, offering a challenging 18-hole parkland course with a par of 72 and a length of approximately 6,380 meters. The course features a mix of deceiving holes, including the fourth hole, a par 4 stroke 3 requiring a well-placed drive and precise putting, and the 18th hole, a reachable par 5 with the green in full view of the clubhouse, inviting players to finish in style. The club provides a fully equipped clubhouse with bar, restaurant, conference, and function facilities, as well as a well-stocked pro shop managed by JG Claasen.
