About Bushman Sands Golf Course & Hotel

Bushman Sands Golf Club, located in Alicedale, Eastern Cape, South Africa, is an 18-hole championship course designed by Gary Player. Opened in 2004, the course follows the banks of the Bushmans and New Years Rivers, featuring undulating fairways and pot bunkers reminiscent of traditional Scottish links courses. Unique aspects include playing the first stroke over an active railway line, a double green shared by the 2nd and 5th holes, and finishing with a drive over a small cemetery in the center of the fairway. The course offers a challenging yet friendly experience for golfers of all levels.
