About Heron Lakes

Heron Lakes is a public golf course located in North Portland, Oregon. The facility features two 18-hole courses, the Great Blue course and the Greenback course, both of which were designed by noted golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The Great Blue course is a links-style course with wide fairways, large bunkers, and water hazards. It is considered to be one of the most challenging courses in the Pacific Northwest. The Greenback course, on the other hand, is a more traditional parkland-style course that features tree-lined fairways and small greens. In addition to the two courses, Heron Lakes also features a driving range, a pro shop, and a restaurant that offers stunning views of the golf courses and the surrounding wetlands. Heron Lakes is a popular destination for golfers of all skill levels, and it has hosted several professional and amateur tournaments over the years.
