Founded in 1892, Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville, Georgia, is one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States. The course was transformed into an 18-hole layout in 1929 by architects Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek, with a restoration led by Bob Cupp in 2013. The club has a rich history, including hosting PGA Tour events in the 1930s and 1940s, and is home to the Piney Woods Amateur, one of the longest-running amateur tournaments in the country.
