Davenport Country Club, established in 1924 in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, is a private, member-owned club featuring an 18-hole course designed by renowned architects Henry Shapland "Harry" Colt and Charles Hugh Alison. The course is celebrated for its challenging layout that utilizes the natural terrain and elevation, with two creeks influencing play on five holes. Recognized as one of the premier courses in Iowa, it has hosted notable tournaments, including the Western Open in 1936 and 1951.
