About Admiral Baker

Admiral Baker is a recreational area located in San Diego, CA. It houses two 18-hole golf courses, a driving range, a pro shop, a military museum, and various picnic areas. The area is named after Admiral William Baker, who was a naval aviator and a three-star vice admiral in the United States Navy. He served the Navy for over 30 years and was awarded numerous medals and commendations for his service. The recreational area was established in his honor in 1960 and has become a popular destination for both military personnel and civilian visitors.
