Winged Foot, which is located in Mamaroneck, NY, is a historic golf club that has been around since 1923. It was designed by A.W. Tillinghast, who is considered to be one of the most influential architects in the history of golf course design. The club has two 18-hole courses, the West Course and the East Course, both of which are known for their difficulty, with narrow fairways, deep rough, and challenging greens. The West Course has hosted the U.S. Open five times, most recently in 2020, when it was won by Bryson DeChambeau. The East Course has also hosted a number of prestigious events, including the PGA Championship and the U.S. Amateur Championship.
