The club was established in 1976 and features three 18-hole championship courses - the Duke's, the Duchess and the Marquess. The Duke's course is the most prestigious of the three and has hosted numerous professional events, including the British Masters and the Women's British Open. The Duchess course is considered to be the most challenging, with narrow fairways and strategically placed bunkers, while the Marquess course is the newest addition to the club and features a more modern design.
