About Club de Golf de Punta Carretas
Established in 1922 and located in Montevideo's Punta Carretas neighborhood, Club de Golf del Uruguay features an 18-hole course designed by renowned architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie. The course, inaugurated in 1930, spans 6,635 yards and offers scenic views along the Río de la Plata. Recognized for its challenging layout and historical significance, the club has hosted numerous international tournaments and was declared a National Historic Monument in 1975.
