About Guyan Golf & Country Club
The Guyan Golf & Country Club was founded in 1922 and was originally known as the Huntington Country Club. The course was designed by golf course architect Walter Travis, who was also a three-time U.S. Amateur champion and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. The course has gone through many changes over the years, including a major renovation in the 1960s by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Today, the 18-hole golf course is known for its scenic views of the Guyandotte River and its challenging layout. In addition to golf, the club offers a range of amenities, including tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse that hosts social and community events.
