Bowden Golf Course, located in Macon, Georgia, is a historic 18-hole public course designed by John C. Cotton and opened in 1940. Built on the site of the former Miller Field airfield with labor supplied by the Works Progress Administration, it features Bermuda grass greens and a par of 72. In 1961, it became the first public facility in Macon to integrate racially, and in 2015, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
