Established in 1915 and originally designed by Tom Bendelow, the Mason City Country Club, now known as Legacy Golf Course, offers an 18-hole parkland-style layout featuring tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. The course has hosted over 20 Iowa Golf Association tournaments, reflecting its esteemed status in the region. Recent renovations, overseen by architect Kevin Norby and PGA Champion John Daly, have enhanced both the course and its facilities, including the addition of a new pavilion with seating for over 200 guests.
