About Golf communal de Font-Romeu
Golf de Font-Romeu, established in 1928 by the Compagnie des Chemins de Fer du Midi, is France's first mountain golf course. Located at 1,800 meters altitude in the Pyrénées Catalanes, this 9-hole, par-36 course offers a challenging layout with technical holes and stunning panoramic views. The course was renovated in 1985 by Jean Garaïalde and features a practice area with 30 posts, including 10 covered, as well as putting and pitching greens.
