About KRL Golf Club

Rawalpindi Golf Club, established in the 1880s, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Pakistan. Located adjacent to Ayub National Park in Rawalpindi, Punjab, the club features a 27-hole course with a parkland layout. The course underwent significant renovations in the early 1980s under the patronage of President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, enhancing its facilities and attracting a membership exceeding 1,000 golfers. The club has played a pivotal role in the development of golf in Pakistan, including the formation of the national Golf Union, which later became the Pakistan Golf Federation.
