About Aldeburgh Golf Course

Founded in 1884, Aldeburgh Golf Club in Suffolk, England, is the country's second oldest maritime heathland course. The Championship Course, designed by notable architects including Willie Park Jr. and J.H. Taylor, offers a challenging layout with stunning views of the River Alde and the North Sea. Recent renovations by Mackenzie & Ebert have enhanced the course, introducing new holes and extending the par to 70 for men. The club has a rich history of inclusivity, being one of the first to offer equal membership and playing rights to women.
