Burke Lake is a 218-acre lake located in Fairfax Station, Virginia. It is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and hiking, with a 4.5-mile trail that circles the lake offering scenic views and wildlife sightings. The lake is also home to a campground, picnic areas, and a miniature train that runs around the park on weekends. Additionally, Burke Lake hosts numerous community events and festivals throughout the year, including an annual fishing tournament, Fourth of July celebration, and Oktoberfest. The lake is named after Silas Burke, a 19th century Virginia politician who owned land in the area.
