Anderson Country Club was founded in 1915 and was one of the oldest golf courses in South Carolina. The club was originally designed by renowned golf course architect, Donald Ross. Over the years, the course underwent several renovations and improvements to keep up with modern golfing standards. However, due to financial difficulties, the club was forced to close its doors in 2016. The 18-hole course boasted a par of 71 and stretched over 6,500 yards. It featured challenging holes, beautiful fairways, and stunning scenery. The club was known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular destination for golfers of all skill levels. Although Anderson Country Club is no longer operational, it remains an important part of the golfing history in Anderson, South Carolina.
