About The Walker Course

The Walker Course is a championship golf course located on the campus of Clemson University in South Carolina. The course was named after James D. Walker, a former Clemson trustee and avid golfer who donated the land for the course. Designed by renowned golf course architect D.J. DeVictor, The Walker Course features rolling hills, well-manicured fairways, and challenging water hazards. The course has been ranked as one of the top university courses in the country by Golfweek magazine and has hosted multiple NCAA Regionals and Championships. The Walker Course is a par-72 course that measures over 7,000 yards from the championship tees. The course features a variety of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. In addition to golf, The Walker Course also offers a full-service clubhouse, including a golf shop, grill, and banquet and meeting facilities. The course is open to the public and is a popular destination for golfers from across the region.
