About Turtle Point
Turtle Point is a renowned golf course located in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. It is one of the five golf courses on the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, and it was designed by golf course architect Jack Nicklaus. The course was opened in 1981 and features beautiful views of the marshlands, lagoons, and the Atlantic Ocean. It has been rated as one of the top courses in the United States by Golf Digest, and notable professional golfers have played on it, including Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson. The course is named after the abundant sea turtles that lay their eggs on the sandy beaches of Kiawah Island.
