About Dayton Country Club
Dayton Country Club is a private, member-owned club that was established in 1897 in Dayton, Ohio. The 18-hole golf course was redesigned in 1952 by renowned golf course architect, Donald Ross. The club also features tennis courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and a clubhouse with fine dining options. Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus played at Dayton Country Club during his amateur career and later designed the club's second course. Dayton Country Club has hosted several notable events, including the 1957 U.S. Women's Open, the 2001 U.S. Senior Open qualifying, and the 2014 Ohio State Men's Golf Championship.
