About Donegal Golf Club
Donegal Golf Club, also known as Murvagh Golf Club, is located in a picturesque coastal area of Co. Donegal, Ireland. The golf course was originally designed by renowned golf course architect Eddie Hackett in the 1970s and has since been updated by well-known Irish golfer, Pat Ruddy. The 18-hole, par-73 course measures 6,931 yards and is considered one of the top championship links courses in Ireland. The course features sand dunes, undulating fairways, and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Bluestack Mountains. The Donegal Golf Club has hosted numerous national and international golfing events, including the Irish Ladies Close Championship and the Irish Seniors Amateur Open Championship. The club also has a fully equipped practice facility, a pro shop, and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant serving local cuisine.
