The Olympic Golf Course in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was designed by Gil Hanse and opened in 2016 for the Summer Olympics, marking golf's return to the Games after 112 years. Located in the Barra da Tijuca zone within the Marapendi Natural Reserve, the 18-hole, par-71 course spans over 7,000 yards and features meticulously maintained greens and a layout that offers multiple strategic options.
